In Sales Success Stories: 60 Stories from 20 Top 1% Sales Professionals, Scott Ingram shares the secrets of the practices and habits that have been used by the best sales professionals to continuously achieve success and stay at the top of their game. Interestingly, much of what the professionals share is accessible to anyone. The book explores four key areas: mindset, relationships, the sales career and the sales process. Some of the professionals whose stories are showcased include DeJuan Brown, Jacquelyn Nicholson, Trong Nguyen, Dayna Leaman and many more sales professionals who are blazing new paths in this field. The book starts with each of their bios while the content contains their success stories, their failure points, what they learned along the way plus tons of useful advice for anyone in the same career or who is involved in sales even if not directly.

What makes Sales Success Stories special is that it is based on experiences from sales professionals, from a wide range of backgrounds, who are not only successful but make up the top 1% of salespeople. Their stories are engaging, powerful and compelling. In the section on mindset, Kyle Gutzler shares the importance of asking the question, Why not me? She further explains how with time, thoughts create our reality. It is insight like this that makes the book stand out. It was interesting to note that all the contributors have faced rejection, sometimes constantly, but their recognition of it as being just part of the process makes the difference. Scott Ingram’s Sales Success Stories is cutting edge. It’s a book that every sales professional or anyone interested in winning in their careers by understanding how to achieve success in sales should consider reading. Certainly, highly recommended.
