Sarah Joy is a born-again Christian who has an inspiring testimony. In her book Saved, Sarah tells her life story and how God used strange circumstances to bring her to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Too many Christians I know feel guilt and shame because of actions they chose in their past. Because of her past, Sarah experienced self-condemnation. In her book, she shares how to become an overcomer and live the life God intends. What do you know about demon oppression and possession? This book will take you there and you can see the effects. Sarah had a close encounter with the demon world that led her to her need for Christ and salvation. Read this book and share Sarah’s triumphs and defeats. Share the nitty-gritty of life and how she became a lover of Jesus and a follower of Christ. Learn what it means to walk in the Spirit.

Saved by Sarah Joy is one of the most exciting books I have read in a long time. I could not put it down. Watching the hand of God in her life was exhilarating. Seeing the fantastic changes wrought by God was breathtaking. This book will inspire and encourage every Christian who reads it. But, more importantly, this book will introduce Jesus Christ to those who do not know Him. Sarah desires that this book will lead many to become followers of Christ. Sarah’s writing style is real and straightforward. However, the part of Sarah’s life where she was possessed by a demon may not be considered appropriate for young teens to read. Nevertheless, Sarah’s various life experiences show how God leads and protects His own. You will be glad you took the time to read this book. I highly recommend it.

Saved by Sarah Joy is a faith-based memoir about a woman retelling her experience of being possessed by a demon for eight hours, but there is more to her story, which is a testimony to being saved by Jesus Christ and her journey of faith. The book starts out by Sarah relaying her early years as a child of divorce, and how it shaped who she became later in life. She relates an early incident that may serve as an omen of things to come--a cold wind in her bedroom with no explanation, her bed trembling when there was no earthquake, an invisible hand clutching her thigh. Fast forward to her life as married with three children, when, after a tragic overdose in the neighborhood, she speaks to a spirit guide named Pam, which ignites a paranormal fuse that changes things in her life. She describes her demonic nightmare with clarity and objectivity, and explains how the demonic possession lasted for close to eight hours.

But besides an account of being possessed by a demon, Sarah's story is one of salvation and grace, which is the main message of her book. Her path toward healing wasn't easy, and she was restored by faith in Christ, His love, and His power over demons. I like how she explains her healing process, which began with a humbled heart and broken spirit, and didn't happen all at once, but was ongoing. The author's story may be hard for some to believe, but how much you believe is only for you to decide. She tells her story with frankness and believability, and it may or may not be a story you can relate to, but if you open your heart and mind, you may be able to begin your own journey of peace, healing, and miracles in Jesus Christ. Bible verses are used throughout to illustrate her points. One thing that stands out as she tells her story is how perfectly normal her life seemed until the time she says dark forces temporarily claimed her. Her descriptions about daily life and being tempted by an emotional affair convey the average wife and mother living the average life. Things were just fine until her encounter with the spirit guide, which then opened a demonic can of worms. If stories of spiritual encounters, supernatural forces, and redemption appeal to you, then you will love Saved by Sarah Joy.

Saved by Sarah Joy begins in the early seventies. At the age of three, Sarah’s parents went through a traumatic divorce. Sarah’s mother, stepfather, half-sister Anna, and her brother John moved far away from her father and grandparents. At 21 Sarah married Jack and, after having three children, the family moved to Hawaii. Sarah became melancholy for a number of reasons and her friend Pam offered assistance as a spiritual guide. As a result, Sarah became indwelt by an evil spirit and ended up in a mental health clinic where she was prescribed anti-psychotics. Sarah then consulted Rebecca, a Christian counselor, and decided to start attending church with her family. Sarah was saved from her sins and the clutches of Satan and, in her book, she shares her healing journey.

Saved is a heart-warming story of faith and healing. Sarah Joy shares her personal life experiences and beliefs, as well as her strong Christian faith. Her philosophies on life and religion will certainly help others who may find themselves in difficult situations and seek help in moving forward. The story also reminds us that marriage is a lifetime commitment, through thick and thin, in sickness and in health. Sarah is a courageous woman, an inspiration to everyone; she is a fighter and does what it takes to survive. There are many Bible verses included in the book, all relevant to Sarah’s story, that serve as a reminder to Christians that the Bible contains the answers to many questions. All-round, a great story recommended to everyone.

In Saved, Sarah Joy tells her story about how making bad choices and looking for help and guidance in the wrong places can open us up to demonic possession and oppression. We see how Satan is so subtle that he can even make us believe we are talking to God. Sarah Joy warns us about getting involved in practices like the Ouija board, seances, palm reading, horoscopes, tarot cards, consulting psychics, spirit guides, mediums, yoga, reiki, and automatic writing. Even though many of these are popular and considered beneficial by secular culture, they all open us up to demonic influence. Sarah also stresses the importance of getting help from Christian counselors as soon as possible to deal with the trauma of demonic activity in your life.

After reading Sarah's account of being indwelt by a demon, it would be easy to react in fear. But for me, Sarah's story gives me hope. I was encouraged by Sarah Joy that we all can have a close relationship with Jesus. We all experience challenges in life, but Sarah Joy shows us that not only does God answer prayers, but living near Jesus brings us hope and peace. I especially love how she lost her wedding ring, her husband lost his father's ring, and how they eventually found both rings after prayer. It shows God also cares about the little details in our lives. For me, a powerful lesson is that we should be grateful for difficult times because it teaches us important lessons and often brings us many blessings. If you find yourself in a hard place, Saved will encourage you to seek God, knowing that you can get close to Him and experience His presence and peace.

Saved by Sarah Joy is a memoir of how God saved her from herself and everything in between. This is the story of healing, finding love, God, and His Grace when she was terrified out of her mind. Sarah was very young when her parents divorced, and soon after that, her parents started their own lives. She and her brother John grew up within their lives. However, Sarah grew up to be a wonderful woman, found a man whom she loved, and had children with him. But things went terribly wrong when Sarah experienced things that none of them should have done. Being possessed and getting out of it alive opened her eyes to the little (and not so little) blessings of God. After that, Sarah changed as a woman and as a human.

Sarah Joy grabs the attention of her readers with the first few words and sucks them right into her story. She took readers step by step, welcomed them into her story, into her past, and allowed them to look deep into her personal life. I don’t think letting someone know about your sins, your transgressions, and your mistakes is easy, but Sarah Joy did it all effortlessly. Reading Sarah’s story felt like talking to a friend. The narrative was simple, with no fanfare and an abundance of emotions. You felt her regret, her confusion, and her terror as she went through her life with a staunch belief in the Grace of God. It doesn’t matter if you are a believer in the spiritual world or not; you will find hope in the pages of this book and feel closer to God.
