Saving Quinton is the story of a young woman who is struggling to make a life for herself after tragedy caused her to completely shut down for an entire summer. For that one terrible summer, she saw the worst of what her world had to offer, but she also saw a boy that she could easily imagine herself in love with, a boy she left behind when she left that terrible world behind. Now Nova is determined to find Quinton again and she’s determined that this time she’s not going to make the same mistake and leave him behind yet again. This time she’s going to save him and bring him back into the world with her.

For anyone that has ever known someone who spiraled out of control, this book is definitely inspiring. Nova experienced the loss of two people she loved, one by his choice and one by a freak accident. Now she’s determined not to let Quinton be the next sacrifice. She is definitely the inspiring type of person that many of us wish we could be and she doesn’t give up on the people she loves. Quinton is someone that I definitely couldn’t help but care about, and every time he would make a bad decision I couldn’t help but feel a little crushed, just like Nova. I found myself glued to this book trying to figure out if he would make it or not as I was pulled into his downward spiral. Nova, Tristan, and Quinton are definitely the type of characters you don’t easily forget. An excellent book about the dangers and problems associated with drug abuse and trying to overcome them.
