Scottie's Ten Bubble Yawns by Sanne Rothman is a fun and educational picture book for young children. The book tells the story of a dog named Scottie, who sees bubbles everywhere he goes. He sees them when the laundry is being cleaned, at a car wash, and even at the park! Scottie loves the bubbles he sees throughout the day and feels relaxed whenever he is around them. Scottie feels so relaxed that when bedtime approaches, he is calm and sleepy. This book is aimed to calm your little one at bedtime and help them to fall into a deep and blissful sleep. So if your child struggles to sleep at night, then give Scottie's Ten Bubble Yawns a try and see if they become relaxed and sleepy, just like Scottie.

Scottie's Ten Bubble Yawns was a joy to read. I love that author Sanne Rothman has created a book that soothes and calms the mind of the person reading it, whilst also teaching them how to count to ten. Bedtime can be a struggle for children and the most common reason is that they have too much energy inside; they need something to calm them when it's time to switch off. Luckily, books like Scottie's Ten Bubble Yawns exist and can help with this. The illustrations of Scottie are adorable and add to the serenity of the book. I feel that Sanne Rothman's book will be very beneficial and your child will feel both entertained, and relaxed, just in time for bed. I want to wish Sanne Rothman all the best in future creations.

Scottie's Ten Bubble Yawns, by Sanne Rothman, is a 36-page-long story for very young readers (think preschool/kinder). There is a cutout section in the paperback book in which the reader can dress the dog in different colored scarves. As for the story, here we have Scottie, a cute little dog, who is fascinated with bubbles that he sees wherever he goes. Throughout his day he tries to catch and eat them as they progressively number from one to ten. But it seems like every time he does so, they always manage to slip out of his grasp. Will Scottie ever be able to catch one?

I found the images full of color and easy on the eyes. The detailed pictures really move the story forward. There aren’t many words, and there doesn’t need to be for the book is aimed at very little ones and they will understand what is happening from the vibrant pictures. It’s a fun story that will help soothe and relax children. This will definitely be a favorite before nap times and nightly bed routines. Although it is a good book for counting, it will also serve well in identifying colors, the ones children know, and introducing colors they don’t. Often books like these come with simple artwork. But this book goes beyond that and with its richness in detail and varied color schemes, it is an excellent tool for learning. Scottie's Ten Bubble Yawns by Sanne Rothman is a soothing read that will help children relax and sleep. Highly recommended.

Bubbles, bubbles everywhere. A little dog, Scottie, is fascinated with all the bubbles. He wants to catch one and taste it, but they are rather evasive. One bubble “soared away up high,” two bubbles were blown away when he barked; three bubbles from the washing machine “drifted up to the ceiling,” all the way up to the ten bubbles that he enjoyed in his nighttime bath. What a fun way to learn the numbers and imagine the little dog who loves all the bubbles, from one to ten.

Sanne Rothman’s picture book story, Scottie's Ten Bubble Yawns: Scottie Toddler Books - Preschool Books, is a fun read for bedtime, or anytime. The plot follows Scottie’s daily routine and the bubbles he encounters throughout the day, from 1 to 10. Partially told in rhyming verse, making it almost lyrical like a lullaby, the story is both educational and entertaining, as well as being soothing and relaxing to lull young readers to sleep and pleasant dreams. Each number from 1 to 10 is written in a larger font than the rest of the text to help young readers start to recognize their numbers. There is an interactive exercise at the end of the book, allowing young readers to trace each number with a finger so they can learn to draw the numbers. There is another activity involving Scottie’s cute bandanna scarves that gives young readers another opportunity to show their counting skills. The illustrations are bright and colorful and help move the story along.

Sanne Rothman authored Scottie’s Ten Bubble Yawns to help young children learn the numbers 1-10. This is a fun book that children will love having read to them. However, there are so many areas you can veer away from the book to teach your children about life. For example, Sanne sneaks in teaching your children how to count using the cover of a cute puppy. At the end of the book, some games help reinforce counting and what the different numbers look like. This book will not only help youngsters learn how to count, but it also serves as a bedtime story that leads to yawning and thus sleep. Children will love the illustrations and want to hear the story of Scottie again and again.

In Scottie’s Ten Bubble Yawns, Sanne Rothman gently teaches toddlers their first ten numbers. However, Sanne brings much more than just a cute story to the book. She also includes teaching directions, counting, calming breathing, and so much more. Sanne writes in a manner that will catch your child’s attention and have them wanting more. She understands what it takes to keep children interested. Another lesson parents can teach their children through this book is to keep trying. Scottie tries to catch a bubble. He keeps trying through 10 different situations. Each time he fails, but he keeps trying. Use this book to teach your children the value of perseverance. Teach your children to never give up on their dreams or their learning. Print the craft pages out and enjoy playing make-believe with your toddler.
