In a great new work by prolific author Kelly Risser, Sea of Memories, Book Four in the Never Forgotten series, readers are again treated to a fantastic read in the urban fantasy genre. The book contains a set of novellas, all set in the Never Forgotten world, that continues the stories of the place that many have grown to love. Meara and Kieran travel to North America and return to Mirage, the dance club where they first met. Interestingly, the story will be told from Kieran's point of view this time. We also will see how Meara's parents fell in love, follow David as he investigates who murdered his parents, and will again visit Ula. Readers of the Never Forgotten series will be over the moon with this new offering, and the further glimpse it provides into the lives of our favorite characters.
I so enjoyed Sea of Memories. Author Kelly Risser has done a great job in continuing these favorite characters' stories, and the short format of the novellas included in this book is the perfect way to present them. Any reader who loves a great work of urban fantasy, works in the novella format, The Never Forgotten series, or just someone looking for a fun read about an interesting place with intriguing characters should absolutely read Sea of Memories. I highly recommend this book, and would welcome more from this author in this style in the future. I certainly hope that author Kelly Risser is already working on her next book, and I will look forward to reading more from her in the near future.
