Author Biography

Demelza Carlton has always loved the ocean, but on her first snorkelling trip she found she was afraid of fish.

She has since swum with sea lions, sharks and sea cucumbers and stood on spray-drenched cliffs over a seething sea as a seven-metre cyclonic swell surged in, shattering a shipwreck below.

Sensationalist spin? No - Demelza tends to take a camera with her so she can capture and share the moment later; shipwrecks, sharks and all.

Demelza now lives in Perth, Western Australia, the shark attack capital of the world.

The Ocean's Gift series was her first foray into fiction, followed by the Nightmares trilogy. She swears the Mel Goes to Hell series ambushed her on a crowded train and wouldn't leave her alone.

See You in Hell (Mel Goes to Hell) by Demelza Carlton is the second in a series. Melody Angel has taken a job in HELL – the Health, Environment, Life and Lands Corporation. It is her mission to find Lucifer, to determine what his plans are for Earth. Luce is the CEO, unarguably hot and definitely focused on one thing – landing Melody Angel. He pursues her and she rejects his advances, but how long can she keep this up? How long before she gives in and gives him what he wants – her? In this paranormal tale with a twist, follow Melody as she seeks the truth and does whatever it takes to get it, and go wherever her path leads her. All in the name of duty…

See You in Hell (Mel goes to Hell) by Demelza Carlton was laugh out loud hilarious in places. The story was full of satire and chemistry, an explosive combination. I totally loved the story, loved the characters - who wouldn’t fall for the gorgeous and sexy Luce? I was a little disappointed when it ended because I really want to read the next one now! Ms. Carlton has clearly put a great deal of effort into this series and has produced books that are suitable for anyone over their teen years, anyone who is looking for a bit of light relief and an office romance with a twist. Excellent offering, I thoroughly enjoyed it and am really looking forward to reading the next one – and perhaps the first one as I missed it!
