The night before the birth of her baby, Rachel Gordon receives an eerie visit from her deceased husband Benjamin. He pleads with her to forgive him and asks her to name the baby after him. His last request, as he fades away, is for Rachel to investigate the reasons that drove him to kill himself. He tells her that he suffered terribly before he took his own life. As a new mother to young Benjamin, Rachel struggles to find answers about Ben. Her calls and letters go unanswered, and no one will say anything, but she is determined to get answers. Whilst searching for answers, Rachel must still cope with her grief and raise her children. In Shred of Evidence by Leah Rae Lambert, we take this heart-wrenching journey with Rachel as she struggles to make a new life for herself whilst trying to find answers.
