Shrouded Truth: Biblical Revelations Through Past Life Journeys (Radiant Light Series) by Reena Kumarasingham is a non-fiction book on the theme of reincarnation and rebirth. This is written especially in the context of past life regressions into the biblical period and people who lived in the time of Jesus Christ. Shrouded Truth is essentially a book that combines the metaphysical subject of reincarnation within the scope of experiences of people that shed light on the times and life of Jesus. The book basically contains the experiences of people who are able to remember past lives as friends or family of Jesus. The narratives of these subjects provide a look at life in those times as well as shedding new light on historical events such as the crucifixion of Christ, His travels to the East, His teachings, His personal and family life, and His personality among other things.

I wasn’t sure if Shrouded Truth was going to be a religious or Christian-themed book or not, but being intrigued by the topic of reincarnation, I decided to pick it up. It is a very interesting and fascinating book and, in fact, corroborates such facts as Jesus being a part of the secretive Essenes, certain major facts about His crucifixion, His travels to the East probably as far as India and Tibet, and of course the role of Mary and other people in His life. Reena Kumarasingham basically writes the book in the same form as the sessions evolved with her clients, and also has relevant historical commentary interspersed with this. I found the book to be instructive and fascinating. I hope she also comes out with similar case studies on reincarnation on people regressing into ancient Hindu times, Buddhist times, or other major religions or cultures of the world.

I have never thought of or ever imagined myself existing in another time and era, but the concept of reincarnation seems to be so real. One has no doubt that these stories are true and it is interesting how biblical references come out in the stories. Besides what we know from the scriptures as delivered to us, one wonders what the greatest event of history was like — the Resurrection of Jesus. Listen to people with memories about James, the brother of Jesus, Paul, Mary Magdalene, Martha and Thomas, as well as others, and how they felt about Jesus. This book is very inspiring, and it has knowledge that everyone who is curious about the truth and wanting to deepen their experience of Jesus should read. Reena Kumarasingham’s book is a rare gift of faith; a book that reveals a power and a spiritual reality that is very accessible to us.
