'Innocently trusting the wrong person can be fatal.' Snake-Like Relationships by Johanna Sparrow tackles a relevant topic; that of dealing with the toxic people in life and how these poisonous people can go out of their way to make the lives of others a living hell. The book gives helpful suggestions on how to deal with these poisonous people because it is necessary for your sanity and peace of mind, but also physical health as well. So if you come across attractive personalities who are controlling and manipulative and can tear you down in a short amount of time, then it is high time to evaluate these fake people and fake relationships, and move away from them before it's too late.

The topic is useful and helpful to readers and will guide them well when it comes to assessing people in their inner circle, and dealing with them accordingly. The tips and techniques shared by the author can be used to shake off the venomous people in everybody's life to remain unaffected by their poison. It is important to remember that not everyone is your friend, and everyone must have experienced backstabbing, gossiping, envious, and hateful members in their family. This book will show you how to stave off these dangerous and poisonous snakes.

The book is engaging and though the world is filled with fake people, not many authors have written about it. The author rightly puts it as: 'Don't be fooled by the colors of a snake, it's only a distraction. They all strike eventually. Hiss…..hiss…..slither.' The black and white sketches in the book add to the visual effect. This book will make readers aware of the black mambas that are around them and help them be more careful while dealing with family, friends, and coworkers.
