Socks and Mittens, two playful kittens, were busy chasing the leaves in the garden one afternoon. Socks came up with the idea of going on an adventure since he felt they both were not kittens anymore. Though Mittens wasn't too sure about it, she liked to follow Socks wherever he went to keep him out of trouble. They both squeezed through a gap in the hedge and there was a huge tractor in front of them plowing a field. Mittens decided to explore another place but Socks was already having fun trying to catch the dirt that was flying up. Mittens joined him and they were soon having fun playing with the dirt and chasing each other. The farmer told them it was not safe to play there and they should go elsewhere. What happens next to these two adventurous kittens?

Socks and Mittens Go Exploring by Charlotte Reynolds is an adorable story that will take young readers on an exciting adventure along with the two kittens to areas beyond their garden. The illustrations by Rabia Arbab are bright and captivating and make the story charming and appealing to youngsters. Socks and Mittens will make readers fall in love with their antics and adorable behavior. They will also encourage readers to become adventurous, explore new places, deal with dangerous situations at times, and have some fun. It is a good book for parents and tutors to use for storytelling sessions at home and in classrooms.
