What is more important to a human being than hope, healing, and forgiveness? Why should you allow only light into your mind? How can you make only love real? Gorman Poetry's third poetry collection, Sojourn, is dedicated to these important issues. It collects inspired and delicate verses and spiritual messages that give the reader serious food for thought. Gorman Poetry invites the reader to walk a path where love is a driving force, to the point that he invites you to see only it. Are you ready for this unforgettable journey?

There is ineffable musicality in the poems of Gorman Poetry. This is the first element of Sojourn that struck me, but it is the way in which the poet deals with the themes that have revealed to me the depth of thought of this collection. I was particularly impressed by the statement that "nothing heals in darkness" because it is something I have experienced myself. What emotions can Sojourn arouse in the reader! Gorman Poetry gives this poetry collection a sense of peace and serenity that transports readers to a world where love reigns supreme or, as he puts it, where "only love is real." I also add that the spirit messages are profound and interesting. They are more than the ideal complements of the verses; they have an intrinsic value, and I consider them pure wisdom. I believe that Sojourn is a book that will delight any sensitive reader. It is rare to find such inspiration in our day.

Sojourn is a collection of contemporary poems by Gorman Poetry, featuring interludes in between, that delves into themes of healing, love, forgiveness, and oneness. "You Will Not Be Alone" talks about how each and every single one of us is part of one big whole and how the sheer vastness of time heals all wounds. "Your Gift" celebrates the uniqueness that's inherently present in all of us. "Our Saving Grace" presents the concepts of love and forgiveness as the pathways to heal our wounds and fulfill our lives. In "Stay In The Flow", Gorman showcases how the consequences of our thoughts, words, and actions shape the course of our lives. "Its Own Reward" emphasizes that living a life of peace and oneness is a reward on its own.

With beautiful poetic verses full of spiritual, metaphysical, and inspirational messages, Gorman Poetry pens an enthralling poetry collection that leaves a lot to ponder about long after you've finished reading the book. Sojourn is a collection for the ages with contemporary poems that explore the human condition in a myriad of ways. The verses are full of clever wordplay, snappy rhymes, and a little bit of rhythmic structural experimentation. Through his poems, Gorman touches upon themes of love, forgiveness, healing, and the concept of oneness -- how we all are part of the same whole carved into the fabric of the universe. The poems "Only As We" and "Its Own Reward" especially struck a personal chord with me. If you're a poetry lover, don't miss out on Sojourn.

Sojourn, by Gorman Poetry, is a collection of moving, meaningful poetry that can work as a self-help guide, and a way to connect with yourself and others on the subjects of love, healing, and the nature of reality. The poems are messages of forgiveness, compassion, and the contrast of dark and light. These deep ideas are perfect for those who like verses that challenge the intellect and lead you toward different ways of thinking. We've all heard of oneness, but what does it really mean, and what does it mean to you? Your imagination will be stirred by these sometimes emotional, sometimes abstract poems. You'll be taken on a journey where love is a real thing, where light is born of healing, and infinity awaits.

I love these intellectual poems that come across as philosophical and healing at the same time. There are themes that make you think, feel, and wonder, and those are the best kind. I feel that you can take a lot from these poems for beauty's sake, but for reasons that have to do with healing and recovery. Some of the topics explored include the laws of nature, animals, the existence of God, the nature of reality, illusion, truth, and more. I like many points the poet makes, but one that stood out to me was "...life is a mass of contradictions..." The golden ratio (Fibonacci numbers) and DNA portals are also discussed, so you will find a wide array of subject matter. If you like poetry that is philosophical and thought-provoking, you will become an instant fan of Sojourn by Gorman Poetry.
