Earth is under attack from a race of reptilian creatures from a distant galaxy, who are intent on taking over the planet and subjugating the people. It is up to the brave men and women of Solar Warden to prevent the gruesome future the actions of the snake heads portend. Captain Steve Richardson's conquests in previous altercations with the aliens have made him a hero among Solar Warden's elite and his input is sought as the defenders set up a defense plan using the planet Mars as a base of operations. Unknown to them, the snake heads have a new element in play as they put the finishing touches to their invasion plans. Who will outsmart the other in this battle of intergalactic chess? Find out in Peter Fuller's Solar Warden: Book Two - Requiem.

The extremely high degree of attention to detail is the first thing you notice when you read Peter Fuller's Solar Warden. The dogfights between the human defenders and their reptilian opponents, the little nuances in the interaction between the military personnel, and even the high-intensity battles all have this characteristic. Little wonder I was completely immersed in this exciting story from the first chapter. The pace is consistent, moving from the calm scenes and picking up as the high-octane events draw near. The alternating sides to Steve Richardson's personality are expertly brought to life with the way he switches between a popular hero and an inadequate older sibling; an attestation to the impressive work Fuller puts into his character development. It is also rewarding to see how a soldier's tendency to follow a higher power when all else fails is highlighted when following Lindsay's ordeal. With an exciting storyline, interesting characters, and eye-catching battles, Peter Fuller sets the bar high with Solar Warden.
