Spirit Calling: Listening to God Within You by Michael Wuehler is the third book in this series of daily devotionals. The devotionals are rooted in reminding us that God still speaks to us although sometimes we forget to listen. The book is broken down into daily studies that begin with January 1 (creating your tomorrow) to December 31 (finding God in your town). Each day is broken down into short explorations that contain advice from God such as speaking words of love and features a Bible verse that pairs with the specific topic. Each one is simple with easy language and a tone that reflects the voice of God giving advice. Each book in this series has been created by Wuehler's desire to reflect his daily dedication to the Spirit which includes prayer, Bible study, and related readings. The result is an easy guide to fit into our daily lives as they only take a few minutes to read while serving as a wonderful start or end to your day, a companion to a more in-depth Bible study, or even part of a Sunday school class discussion.

This devotional by Michael Wuehler is aimed at helping others as they embark on their spiritual journeys with the book's format making it accessible, regardless of whether someone is just starting their journey or finding their way back. The messages focus on various topics that include God's life purpose for you, spiritual gifts, renewed life, and spiritual connections with God. Each day features a different topic such as grief, love, faith, love, forgiveness, blessings, grace, gifts, and peace. Each topic includes a short passage that provides guidance from God that reminds you of His love and contributes to finding your strength by seeing the Lord's presence in your life. These passages include valuable lessons that include seeking God first, understanding why God loves everyone, dancing to your Spirit song, listening to the music of the Spirit, letting God be your daily guide, that we aren't judge and jury, and that we are called to love others. Spirit Calling is poignant with lovely passages that reflect God's love for us in the form of daily devotionals aimed at guiding us on our spiritual path and even five-minute spiritual pick-me-ups.
