StarPassage Book Three: Honor and Mercy is a work of paranormal and time travel fiction written for young adults by author Clark Rich Burbidge. Continuing the tale of adventure with characters old and new, the plot follows the deadly Trackers as they gain power and notoriety, whilst the character of Mike from book two has his chance to shine when he meets newcomer Ronnie. Blending historical fiction with Christian theology, the adventurous plot sees the crew solving mysteries of an ancient relic whilst battling evildoers who have travelled from different times to be in the present day. What results is an exciting novel that also teaches important spiritual values through the actions of its characters.

Author Clark Rich Burbidge is deeply committed to his adventure plot and moral message, both of which are found in good balance among the pages of StarPassage. I enjoyed the twists and turns of the mysterious Ronnie and the secrets that surrounded him, whilst I could clearly see the value-laden messages in the trials that Mike and others went through and the decisions they had to make. The characters are brave and likable, geared more towards the younger end of the teen and young adult spectrum as role models who also get a lot of excitement and personal development during each adventure. The history and historical elements were also very well researched and vividly described, giving StarPassage Book Three: Honor and Mercy a well-rounded feel, packaged in a fast-paced paranormal thrill ride.
