Stepping Stones by Kathleen Driver is an uplifting book that narrates the conversations between two people, Kitt and April, metaphorically linking them to the conversations one can have with one's own self. The conversations touch on emotions, faith, dreams, growth, surrender, obstacles in life, doubt, and many more feelings and thoughts that form part of one's journey in life. The experiences, conversations, and the two characters portrayed in the book are honest and sincere. The book helps readers dispel misconceptions and they will also find the messages within both useful and inspirational.

The two characters in the story, Kitt and April, connect well with readers and the dialogues they have between themselves and the ups and downs in their lives are relatable. God gives everyone everything as long as they stay connected and are ready to receive what He gives us is a very uplifting thought conveyed in the book. The author's idea of putting across the message through the dialogues of Kitt and April is original and refreshing. It makes the message tangible and more real. It's like one is having a good chat with their best friend and becoming motivated after discussing life in general.

The author expresses her ideas using simple language, and the messages can be comprehended easily and incorporated into one's life without much difficulty. The book also teaches readers to love themselves first before they can make changes in their lives in a positive and encouraging way. It's a book that teaches the concept of 'letting go' of toxic relationships and negative things in one's life. The great cover will attract readers to buy/read the book.
