Still: Inspired by God by Maureen Millar is an uplifting and inspiring collection of poems that will encourage readers to make a connection with God and feel a oneness with the Universe. The poems capture the beauty of nature, the solitude the countryside offers, and the stillness in which one gets to hear the voice of God. Reading the poems will bring a sense of peace, love, and well being. The collection is about the blessings of God, truth, resilience, acceptance, righteousness, and will teach readers how to tread the path God wants them to walk.

Many of the poems praise God and His power and presence in everybody’s life while some of the poems teach readers to appreciate the beauty around them, and learn to love all creatures on the planet and mankind. The black and white photographs are captivating and they enhance the beauty of the poet’s words and thoughts. All the poems will help readers reflect on life, emotions, and blessings, and will offer a different perspective on humankind and God. ‘Embrace Change’ tackles a relevant subject and this poem helps to honor the past and delight in the present as the author puts it. A thread of spirituality runs through the collection and the recipe for kindness is worth a try. This collection will catapult readers into glory, peace, and light, and will help them understand the meaning of ‘we are one’.
