In Lucy Leroux’s Stolen Angel, falling in love is not easy. Sergei Damov has been waiting for Ada to see that he is the perfect man for her. After months of waiting, Sergei was given an opportunity and he took it. One late night in the office, when just the two of them were working alone, things progressed from his office … to his bedroom. However, his past does not let him be. Just when he began to be happy, the past came out and he pushed Ada away. This harsh dismissal from Sergei’s life is unbearable for Ada; she promised herself that she will no longer be a victim. So the tables are turned when she leaves without a trace. No one knows where she went and it come out that Ada was not even her real name. Sergei is left in a daze; he finds dead ends wherever he goes.
Stolen Angel by Lucy Leroux was an entertaining story. Although this novel is a part of the A Singular Obsession series, it can easily be read as a standalone novel. Sergei and Ada’s story is very compelling and the reader is breathless to read the end of their story. Of course, the reader is breathless because of their passion as well. Their chemistry is super hot; it is a wonder Ada was able to resist a hunk like Sergei for that long. A really great work and a very cool cover. A job well done. All in all, a great read!
