Stories That Nurture: A Travel Companion For Your Soul by John Johnston is an insightful collection of short stories that will encourage readers on their journey of self-discovery, where they can see themselves evolving into deeper and wider fields of understanding and happiness. The themes handled by the author are uplifting as well as interesting, and will motivate readers to grow onward and upward in their journey of self-discovery. The topics are varied and they cover perseverance, self forgiveness, making empowering choices, the magnetic power of thoughts, rising above moods, getting over ourselves, and many more. They provide valuable tools to solving difficult things in life and make living easier.

I found the stories short, crisp, easy to understand, and apply. Each story deals with the challenges we face in our everyday lives, and the situations and experiences that, at times, make our lives difficult. The concept is inspiring and gives us strength to get up and march toward our intentions and goals so that our ambitions can be fulfilled. The short stories are direct and honest and give readers the opportunity to look at the nuances of life and understand that these are calls to the soul to discover new things. It is difficult to pick any particular story as they all have different messages for readers and will lead them to greater success in many ways. The book reaches out to everyone and offers good advice on soul nurturing, awareness about divine understanding, and a greater sense of personal value.

I think I just love having something good to read that is so different. If you get a chance check out the cosmic duck story. Overall, there is a lot of good advice here, and hidden meanings even though the stories are short. So when you start reading keep that in mind. With every story the author had a specific purpose and meaning, some are more obvious than others.
