Stories Untold by Cachline Etienne is a collection of poetry that shares many different types and styles. Cachline Etienne describes, in her poet’s phraseology, a different rendition of everyday subjects that many people experience. These include love, hope, hopelessness, personal life experiences, loss of love, betrayal of friendship, a boy being ‘friend zoned,' as well as a Christmas poem. The poems within these pages range from a multitude of emotional standpoints and concepts in a rhyming scheme of paraphrase and some free form poetry.

Stories Untold offers a delightful poem by Cachline Etienne on every page. Her idea of poetry is very appealing to any heart. The poetry in Stories Untold are exactly as the title promises the reader, with each poem telling a different story that carries a significant meaning. Cachline Etienne has a well organized style and train of thought with a very intelligent viewpoint on every subject she chose to write about. In Stories Untold, Cachline Etienne wrote “dedicated to those who dare to believe in me,” dedicating the volume of poetry to family and friends whom I can only assume played a role in her inspiration. I quoted her dedication because I too believe in Cachline Etienne whose literary understanding of poetry is as about as good as it gets.

I would be honored to read more poetry from Cachline Etienne like that in her volume of Stories Untold; a genuine five-star collection. She delivers each poem effectively without the usual clichés seen from most poets. Stories Untold by Cachline Etienne is definitely the outstanding work of a very intuitive mind.
