Success Is Your Birthright: God's Success by R. Stanton Tucker is about finding yourself, re-establishing your priorities, and finding God and loving Him. We are familiar with Joseph’s story. We all know of his turmoil, his success, and his need to find the best in humankind and, of course, his thirst to find God. But this book is more than that. It is about realizing that success and happiness are more than any monetary gain. It is about finding that one thing that brings you ultimate happiness, and that is God.

At times, we are too stubborn to acknowledge that what we want is not good for us. God has abundant treasures saved for us and He wants to reward us, even if we do not see it at the time. We feel we have been misled or God does not love us; however, in reality God is only waiting for us to believe in Him and to give us things He wishes us to have. Success to us is something different. And I liked what I read; it gave me much needed perspective to reflect on the choices I have made.

The author's writing style is very smooth. You will be sucked into this book and you will enjoy it. The word choice is perfect and so is the use of Joseph’s story. You see glimpses of his story in the book and you will find them in your life as well. Yes, it is a self-help book, but it is not boring or mundane. It is inviting and very resourceful in helping you find a direction in your life that will guide you to happiness.
