In "The Truth Comes In Storms," a lonely janitor in a factory full of automated androids discovers a shocking truth on a stormy night. A belligerent youth leads a mob of villagers to an old man's abode with devastating consequences in "Protector." "Martian Food" follows two young brothers returning home from the cinema, only for their fears to become all too real when they take a peek into their neighbor's yard. In "Hunting Amyloids," a factory owner fights the fight of his life when his long dreaded enemy returns with a vengeance. In "Defrosting HG Wells," popular sci-fi writer H.G. Wells wakes up 200 years in the future and finds it difficult to comprehend what led to an unexpected galactic ruler.
If you're a fan of sci-fi or short stories with twist endings, Tales From Another Dimension is a book you shouldn't miss out on. Robbie Sheerin and Cassius Sargent tell ten short stories that will keep you on the edge of your seat, wondering what's going to happen next. I enjoyed every single one of them, but "Hunting Amyloids" was probably my favorite of them all. "Defrosting HG Wells" is another one that will give readers a lot to think about.
