Allan Dib’s The 1-Page Marketing Plan: Get New Customers, Make More Money, And Stand out From The Crowd is one of those books that should have a place on every businessperson’s shelf. It addresses busy or lazy entrepreneurs who have no time to create a business plan and offers them a simpler and more practical alternative: a one-page, clear marketing plan that shows the entire strategy at once. The book aims at helping entrepreneurs to grow their business fast and explains what they need to know. First, they have to identify their potential customers and how to interact with them. Then, they need to craft an effective strategy to nurture their lead and improve their sales conversion. And last, entrepreneurs must think about what they can offer to customers after they have bought for the first time.

In the past few years, I have read many books about marketing strategy, but The 1-Page Marketing Plan is the most interesting and exhaustive. Dib has a long experience in this field, and his book reveals it. His self-confidence assures you that his advice is the best you will find. The 1-Page Marketing Plan explains how some preconceived ideas and some of the most common strategies entrepreneurs use for their small- and medium-sized businesses are wrong and harmful. Through a series of valuable examples, Dib explains what makes a business thrive. I appreciated his frank and simple language. It is not a minor detail because it helps one to understand every passage and helps the reader to create his/her marketing plan while reading.
