The Adventures of Polo the Bear: A Comic Book of Climate Change Part 3 by Alan J. Hesse sees Polo the Bear in India, resuming his journey and traveling through the streets of Mumbai. Everywhere he goes, he sees climate change happening due to emissions from too many cars on the streets and industry, and too many related problems like disease, poverty, and waste. Polo the Bear feels it is unhealthy to live in a city where there is a lot of waste and it is always the poor who are affected by bad environmental planning. Polo the Bear has become famous by now and his views get telecast on radio and television channels in India. He then travels to East Africa, Cairo, and other places just to see the same thing happening everywhere. Will he be able to go back to the Arctic?

Like the other two books of the series, Polo the Bear travels to new places and realizes the problem of climate change is global, and how each of us unknowingly is contributing to it. This series of comic books spreads awareness about the impact of climate change in a fun and interesting way without making the subject boring. Everyone needs to know about climate change and the adventures of Polo the Bear do just that. The illustrations give clarity to the concept and give the story a good pace and movement. The tips and techniques to deal with the problem are useful and practical and can be applied easily. This series is definitely a must-have and must-read for all adults and children to make them aware of the disaster that is going to happen because of climate change. Everyone must try to do their small bit in saving the universe.
