The Art of Forgiveness: A Promise of Peace by Carolyn CJ Jones focuses on the process of forgiveness and forgiving and will enable readers to look at situations and people with a new perspective, with fresh eyes. The book will help readers who are hurting from anger, bitterness, and resentment to find the peace and freedom that exists beyond that. This is the author's story from deep despair to great joy and her journey in recovery. Learning to forgive is an art form and the book aptly speaks about the evolution required to achieve forgiveness. The book can be used as a good vehicle to continue the journey while levels of peace and freedom are deepened after trials and difficulties.

Carolyn CJ Jones's approach to the topic is inspiring and uplifting and, by sharing her story, readers will find it easy to connect with her words and understand how to deal with their unhealed emotions and transcend those situations. The Art of Forgiveness gives good insights on how to practice forgiveness, compassion, and gratitude and how to achieve peace, freedom, harmony, and love in relationships. It is a good book for readers to reflect on their behavior, and realize it is possible to heal a lifetime of anger, blame, resentment, grudges, regret, guilt, and self-blame. The techniques and tips shared by the author are easy to incorporate into life and to understand the setbacks and obstacles that have been created.
