In The Bald Grandfather and his Grandsons, Mom's gotta run and the only one she can find to babysit her rowdy boys is Grandpa Joe. Before unsuspecting Grandpa Joe can blink, Josie and Ben run off to cause all kinds of unsuspecting mischief, from making mud pies in the kitchen oven, to shaving the dog. Grandfather gets the boys to settle down by telling them about how bald guys get their head shined, instead of their hair cut, and this prompts the boys to give grandfather's head a shining of their own. It's a good thing too, because little do the boys know that monsters are coming their way, and the only thing to defend against them with is the shiny light that now radiates from their grandpa's scalp. This new children's book from Uncle Amos, with bright colors, and a funny and cute plot will keep kids asking for more and more.

The art media chosen for The Bald Grandfather and his Grandsons was really unique. You could tell that markers and other forms of basic art materials were in use, but there also appeared to be things like paper crafting and maybe paper cutouts in effect. The overall appearance was colorful, bright, and a little silly which is perfect for the pre-K through 2nd grade age groups. Uncle Amos writes a very quick, cute, and lovable tale that is as silly as it is fun and really shows a kind of kinship between brothers as well as between grandfather and grandsons.
