The Clinton Diaries is probably the most honest account ever existing. I came away from this book with a different opinion of Bill Clinton. I still do not agree with his political values or his morals but I can now see him as a flawed human. We take our leaders and place them on pedestals and expect them to be paragons. We allow them little humanity. Was he the worst President this country has ever had? NO! As we look at his presidency we need to remember that most former Presidents did not live under the scrutiny of the media. There were no TV cameras broadcasting every blunder to the entire world.

This book is considered a work of alternative history. Most readers will suspect there is a lot more truth than fiction.

Petrovksy successfully shines light on sexual addiction. This book is strictly for adults. The Clinton Diaries show Bill as a man struggling to be faithful but unable to because of his sexual addiction. The victim in all of this is his daughter. I can only imagine the emotional scars she carries.
