The E.Q. Revolution: Mastering your Emotional Heart-Print by Michael Vincent Moore is a powerful, motivating self-help book for everyone's future, not just the individual. If you've ever had a dream and lost it or aren't sure which path to take, now is the time to awaken to the possibilities that lie inside you. You can change your trajectory with the wisdom Moore offers and practical steps. It's about taking responsibility and focusing on non-material things of the world like love and compassion. This change can take place with E.Q. or emotional maturity. Each day you can write a little more of the story of your life just by making better choices and deciding to do something different, something better than you normally would. You can rediscover your purpose by looking inward, and in doing so, make the world a better place for others.
Moore cuts through the clutter and guides readers with simple language and an overall positive appeal. He doesn't gloss over the challenges of today. Rather, he shows how to become your own hero and a hero for others. If you've ever envisioned or hoped for a world without war and pain, this book can give you hope and light. It's okay to strive for these things. A lot of self-help books focus on career and success, and those are fine books, but this one goes beyond that to push you outside your comfort zone and past the barriers we have erected in societies, cultures, politics, economics, etc. How do you define success? Is it money? A good job? A happy relationship? Expensive car? Mansion? Luxurious cruises? What if success had an additional definition and what if you could make it happen? I like the inspiring quotations sprinkled throughout and the easy style of the author. The concepts of balance, positivity, and selflessness also stand out as easy to grasp. One of my favorite parts is where Moore talks about how difficult it can be for people to share their fears, worries, hopes, and dreams. There are so many takeaways in this book, but the main one for me is that besides a carbon footprint, we can leave behind an emotional heart-print. For an uplifting book that inspires and comforts, put The E.Q. Revolution: Mastering your Emotional Heart-Print by Michael Vincent Moore on your to-read list.
