The Glorious Path (The Record of the Murilánni, Book 1) by Seth Cooper is an epic work of fantasy, a story that has the beauty and depth of mythical tales the likes of Aeschylus, the compelling and arresting narrative of J.R.R. Tolkien, and the impassioned tales featuring gods and humans. The world of Oerstra is godless and humankind suffers without hope. One would think they have forgotten where they came from. It is in such a desolate time that an unlikely hero is born, Talathastro Maslor, a boy from Naug Faloth whose heart is buoyed up for adventure. Readers will love this young boy and his companion Patyr as they become caught up in a conflict with the demi-gods Helior and Rangillion. But what are these demi-gods still doing in a world that has forgotten about them?

This is the kind of book for readers who love works with intricately woven and complex plots, characters that are well-imagined and sculpted from the depths of a rich imagination. The readers become very interested the moment they come into contact with the protagonist and they can’t help wanting to know his fate. The clash between demi-gods and humans is a huge conflict and it is what animates this glorious tale. Seth Cooper has a gift for narrative and his writing conjures up images that excite the imaginations of readers, transporting them to a world that is as exciting as it is beautiful. The author brings into his work powerful literary elements, like suspense, a keen sense of contrast, and dialogue to enhance the plot and character development. The Glorious Path (The Record of the Murilánni, Book 1) is a great success, a highly entertaining work in the area of fantasy. This book stands out in many aspects, but its originality will forever interest readers.

The Glorious Path: The Record of the Murilánni, Book I by Seth Cooper is a wonderfully written novel that follows a young man’s path to success and greatness. This is an epic fantasy that lives up to the theme. The novel follows Talathastro Maslor, who is nothing special. He is just a middle class boy that wants to go out and about, and make some big changes in his life. He is looking for something that will explain his life and give new meaning to it. He wants adventure and he is not afraid to go after it.

He is joined by Patyr, a friend, on the journey to find adventure. However, his world has changed drastically. One time, Oerstra was the favorite of the Gods, but now it appears as if the Gods have left Oerstra to crumble without them. Talathastro now lives in this world that looks nothing like its former glory. Will he find what he is looking for? Is there something out there for him? Should he let go of his big dreams of adventure and give in?

The Glorious Path by Seth Cooper is a very well written epic fantasy that will be loved by many people, regardless of their age. It is brilliantly constructed and well developed. The world of Oerstra is not like any other epic world you may have read about in the past. Talathastro is a complicated yet very real character. I liked him, although I felt that he needed to develop a little more, but as this is the first novel in the series, I am sure that we will get to see Talathastro grow and become a hero very soon. All in all, this is a very good novel for all readers.

The Glorious Path (The Record of the Murilánni, Book I) by Seth Cooper is a fantasy epic that will appeal most to a mixed audience of young adults and adults who enjoy epic fantasy series. The Glorious Path takes place on the world known as Oerstra after the cataclysm caused by the fleeing of the Gods. The people are spread out and divided as they forget the prosperity that they once had. The Glorious Path follows Talathastro Maslor and his friend Patyr as they go against everything they have ever known in order to seek out a better life, filled with more.

The Glorious Path (The Record of the Murilánni, Book I) by Seth Cooper is a well-written book that was an interesting read. I did feel that it was a bit predictable at the beginning, but as the book continued onward, I found that the more I read the less I was able to predict the outcome. The ending was quite a surprise to me and it left me hungry for the second book in The Record of the Murilánni series. While I enjoyed all the characters, I found that young Patyr was my favorite. I liked the fact that his friendship with Talathastro was making his life more interesting, and I enjoyed his reactions.
