The Little Angels: Feel the Goodness by Aisha Khan introduces young readers to two sisters, Coco and Loco, who live in a small town called Lotus. They are the only children of a peasant farmer who is one of the poorest men in Lotus. The products from the farm can hardly sustain them, but the girls are not allowed to beg for food or money. Coco feels sad when she sees rich kids going to school, but her sister Loco consoles her, saying it will pass. Lotus has a residential area for the poor and another for the rich. Their father falls sick and though the girls ask their neighbors for help, no one lends them money. Their father dies and the girls become orphans. Coco and Loco decide to change the world, but how will they do it?

The story conveys a good message and young readers will realize how one step towards positivity can make a lot of changes in the world. It is motivating to see Coco and Loco rise above their problems and tragedies in life, and stand up for their community and make their town happy and wealthy. It is a story about not losing hope during bad times and making the world a better place to live for everyone. All the characters in the story contribute in making the story engaging and entertaining. It is a beautiful story for read aloud sessions in classrooms as it will encourage children to take that one step towards changing their society and being that change.
