The Lord's Relationship Prayer: A Guide to a Right Relationship with God, Man and the World by Jimmie F. Booze is a wonderful book on prayer. The book opens with an introduction to understanding and developing a relationship with God. Relevant scriptures are provided as the author builds a foundation of truth. From there the author breaks down the seven elements of prayer.
Okay, let's start with the title. The author had me hooked right away because I believe in the power of prayer. The subtitle piqued my interest. As I turned page after page, I felt my spirit was touched. I knew from that point that the author had a divine connection to God. The author inserted scriptures with an excellent explanation to instill faith within readers. The fact that I'm knowledgeable on the topic of prayer and aspects with reference to God made me stand in agreement as the author taught on an important topic.
This is one of those books that needs to be shared with everyone who says they believe in God. This book will not only give you an understanding, but it will increase your faith. The Bible declares in Romans 10:17 'So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.' The author has provided biblical truths throughout the book in such a way that readers will be compelled to embrace the elements of prayer. I recommend this book to all believers and to those who want to better understand God in a practical, biblical way.
