The Magnificent Flight of the Owl by Shawn Mayo, Kelly Mayo, Samantha Mayo, and Vallerie Wonders is a collection of 20+ owl designs. "Who!" wouldn't like that? (pardon the pun). Each owl graphic is depicted one per page and there's a blank page on the back of each in order to avoid bleed-through. There are drawings ranging from entry level (in terms of coloring ability) to expert, so there's something for everyone. Owls are really popular these days and there are some wonderful drawings of them in different poses, scenes, and activity included in this coloring book. The title reflects that it's a book full of owls, truly majestic creatures that have been the subject of myths, legends, magic, and fantasy. Because of the variety of owls presented, there is no limit to the color combinations and creativity that can be used with this book.
The Magnificent Flight of the Owl is more fun than seeing the owls at the zoo and here you're much more likely to get face-to-face with one of these awesome birds. Any nature lover would enjoy this book for themselves or to give as a gift to someone in order to provide them with hours of fun, artistic expression, and stress relief. Adult coloring books are a great way to express creativity, even if you aren't an artist who can draw the figures yourself. I especially liked the patchwork drawing of dozens of owls in one graphic.
