The Quarterback Sacked by Love is a contemporary romance novel by Rogin Radocha. Casen, a quarterback for the Philadelphia Golden Eagles team, had been burnt by love. Steffi, his actress girlfriend, cheated on him and got engaged to Tyler Spacey, his rival on and off the field. Tyler was the quarterback for Seattle Sharks, and both teams would face off in a crucial match in England. Collins Baker, who worked for London Landing Magazine, was billed to cover the press conferences for the match. Fate brought Casen and Collins together, and they hit it off. Both had agendas–one looking for a story, the other looking for a fling. However, with a vindictive ex, disloyal friends, and a self-absorbed rival, can they make anything of their relationship?
The Quarterback Sacked by Love by Rogin Radocha is a fantastic book that will appeal to lovers of romance. It features themes like betrayal, distrust, deception, love, and loyalty, among others. I loved the plot as it was unique and quite unpredictable. The characters were well developed, especially Daniel, who caught my attention. I loved his friendship with Collins so much that I hope he gets a story. Often we plan and the heart says another. We also never really know people until it’s time to prove their worth, like the case of Mia. However, I got a satisfactory ending, complete with flawless editing, stylish writing, and seamless dialogues. The novel was fun and educative. I enjoyed reading this book and hope Rogin writes more.
