The Rock that Rolled Across the Ocean by N.D. Byma is an amazing children's book about a young rock. The rock was usually lonely, sitting on a beach that rarely had visitors. The rock was covered in barnacles and seaweed, but it longed for a purpose. One day, the rock was picked up by a person, who told the rock that they had a purpose for it, but they couldn't take it immediately. They told the rock to meet them on the other side of the ocean. The little rock decides to start his journey to the other side. He rolls into the ocean, but the journey isn't easy, and he faces many hardships on the way. Will the rock be able to get to the other side?

I really enjoyed reading The Rock that Rolled Across the Ocean by N.D. Byma. I really loved this book. The story is very inspiring because the rock is determined and never gives up. The book is beautifully written and the story is very heartwarming. This book will bring a smile to readers' faces. The pictures by Maddy Wagar are very beautifully drawn and depict each scene very well. The illustrations of the rock are adorable and colorful. Parents will enjoy reading this book to their child, and children will want to read read this book over and over again. The book teaches that you should never give up. I would definitely recommend this book to young readers.
