The Search for Nina Fletcher by Stephen Hawley Martin opens as Rebecca’s grandmother Minnie is dying. Minnie’s last wish is that Rebecca keeps Live Oaks exactly as it is and not allow any changes to be made that will take away the history of the family home. Unfortunately, Rebecca’s uncle believes that Live Oaks will be his and he can make lots of money building new and modern condos. The only thing that will save the land and house from change is if Rebecca can find her mother (whom she has not seen since she was 3 years old and who simply disappeared one day) and prove her to be the rightful heir. Rebecca is helped by her boss and now special friend, Phil, as they search for clues and travel to Corsica in search of Nina. They face peril, disappointment, accidents and more before the search comes to an end.

The Search for Nina Fletcher: You Won't Put This Book Down Until She Is Found is indeed a suspenseful book that fits the title well. Everything you would expect to find was present: mystery, surprises, greed, misconceptions and - just to add a little spice - a hint of romance. The Search for Nina Fletcher offers excitement throughout with characters that are real and very likable. Stephen Hawley Martin is an author with a bright future and a sure winner. I believe that this book has the potential to make a great movie. If you are a suspense/mystery fan, then this book is a must-read.
