The Sheep that No One Could Find is the story of God and the people who choose to disobey him. The lost sheep is one of the many people that choose to ignore the word and the teachings of God and choose to live their own life. When the going gets tough, however, those people come to see that the Lord is good and that they want to be safe and protected by Him. In Anthony DeStefano’s story, the lost lamb is bored with his life as one of the Good Shepherd's sheep and instead wants to go off on his own. After seeing what is out there, however, he realizes that the world is not the place he thought it was.

When children are learning about God and the Bible, it can often be difficult for them to understand. They will likely have questions or have trouble understanding the stories that are told. In The Sheep that No One Could Find, the story of God caring for and finding every member of his flock, no matter how small, is made into an easy to understand children’s story. Children will definitely love the bright, creative pictures as well as the rhymes. The poetry aspect of this story makes it that much easier for any child to read, understand, and follow along with. This is definitely an interesting book and a cute story that anyone can read and relate to. After all, everyone has been that lost, little sheep once in their life.
