It's time to clear your evening and make plans to curl up with Timberline! Skye McNeil has delivered a lovely, comedic romance that will have you grinning throughout. Jessie is a sought-after editor for a big-time New York publisher. Asher is a famous author looking for his next big idea. Jessie needs a date for the worst wedding party imaginable. Her sister and her ex-fiance are getting hitched, and she can’t possibly go alone! Asher needs inspiration and the last-minute invitation to the mountains from a beautiful stranger might be just what he needs. Hilarity ensues as the two strangers try to make their relationship look real, and maybe it is? But, in this story, the devil is in the details, and what if Asher hasn’t been completely honest? What if Jessie thinks he’s a coffee shop barista instead of the famous writer that he really is? Will their budding relationship be able to survive his deception?
Jessie and Asher were beautifully developed, along with the whole motley crew of family and friend characters. You’ll laugh at every grandmotherly interruption when our couple loses their battle to stay away from one another. You’ll crack your knuckles whenever her sleazy ex, and future brother-in-law, opens his mouth. Her nosy hoard of cousins will make you blush because they have no filters. Readers will experience all the feels, plus some, hoping these two will finally give in to their attraction. Skye McNeil delivers on the romance with Timberline and you’ll be glad you picked it up.
