Time Trove by W.G. Griffiths is the story of archeologist Samantha 'Sam' Conway as she makes yet another amazing discovery. However, there are far too many dangers associated with this discovery than she ever anticipated. Sam found Methuselah's Pillar and she was able to find out the recipe of immortality given to Methuselah. But, unbeknownst to her, a pharmaceutical company is conducting some pretty horrible experiments on humans to find a way to extend human life. So Sam does what she has to and makes the potion by following the recipe, but there is a catch. Whoever takes the potion will not be able to age or die. She now needs to keep the recipe and the potion secret from the clutches of people who can do a lot of damage if they get their hands on it.

I remember reading Methuselah's Pillar a while ago and I had no idea that the author was planning on writing a sequel. And what a sequel it is! W.G. Griffiths has a unique writing style that can be very addictive if you love mysteries and thrillers. Sam’s growth is tremendous. I remember thinking of her as a Lara Croft, but she has evolved to become someone much better. She is now more mature, more intelligent and exceptionally crafty. I enjoyed her transition from a curious archeologist to a proud treasure hunter. The fast pace, the incredible action and the crisp narrative of the story are enough to make you wish for just one more page. I loved every single second of this!
