To Israel, With Love: A Journey of Discovery in History, Mystery, Travel, and Relationships by Carolyn B. Leonard is a non fiction book about one woman's journey to Israel. In full colour and historic splendor, the story unravels in the early morning at the airport where a group of people is subjected to the strict security procedures of El Al, the Israeli flag carrier. What follows is an amazing journey that starts in Tel Aviv and continues in Jerusalem, Caesarea, Haifa, Galilee, Nazareth, Jericho, Masada and many more, and finally back to Jerusalem, the birthplace of the three main religions in the world. This is an exhilarating journey!

Reading Carolyn B. Leonard's To Israel With Love is like physically going on a journey to one of the most fascinating destinations in the world. It is like exploring the origins of the all too familiar Bible stories, touching the walls of the archaeological ruins and breathing the historic air of Israel. It helps a lot that the book has over two hundred pictures fully indexed with maps and charts. Carolyn B. Leonard certainly has an eye for the minutest detail and for history too. This makes To Israel With Love both entertaining and informative. And as we join the author on her trip through Israel, we also go with her on her journey through the twists and turns of ancient history, and we realize that we are, in this moment, on one of the most amazing journeys of our lives.
