The name of the Village of Wrong is appropriate. Here it is wrong - very wrong - to harm animals. Sheriff Stargut is clear about this and does not hesitate to punish anyone who does not respect the friends who live in the wood. Someone who knows this well is Lovey. Her husband Bill has fallen into the sheriff's clutches after hitting a deer. Determined to take revenge, Lovey is joined by Tom, the mysterious new neighbor who lives next to her, and her friend Patty - but who is Tom? What took hold of Patty and how will it end with Sheriff Stargut? Feel the presence of evil in G. R. Jerry's novel, Tom and Lovey: Under the Moon Into the Wood.

Tom and Lovey is a novel that made a positive impression on me and I read it with bated breath. Jerry describes the characters and events skilfully. Everything the author relates is important, but I especially enjoyed Tom's story. This is revealed to us in the middle of the book and is one of the parts I liked the most because it discloses where our hero comes from and details his past. This is one of the many parts of Tom and Lovey that will make you passionate about the tale that G. R. Jerry created. I highly recommend this book to all readers who love great plots in which the protagonists experience disturbing and out-of-the-ordinary experiences. The Village of Wrong awaits you.

Tom and Lovey is a supernatural horror thriller by G.R. Jerry. Living on the outskirts of the remote midwestern village of Wrong, Lovey's last ten years have been quite a rollercoaster. Her husband, Bill, suspiciously died in custody under the supervision of the town Sheriff Harrigut, also known as Stargut, leaving her to spend the last ten years plotting for revenge. Meanwhile, her former friend and neighbor, Patty, seems to be under some spell, leading her to act almost the opposite of her previous self. When a mysterious preacher named Tom enters the scene, Lovey unexpectedly finds an ally to help her bring down Stargut. But soon, the pair realizes that confronting Stargut means facing the inhabitants of the town, as almost all of them have become his soldiers. Can the evil residing in the village of Wrong be stopped?

A potent mix of southern and supernatural elements makes Tom and Lovey a captivating read you don't want to end. Author G.R. Jerry's tantalizing tale provides thrills galore and will have readers biting their nails throughout the pages in anticipation of what's to come. Filled with suspense, mystery, and horror, the narrative hooks you in from the get-go and refuses to let go until the end. Jerry masterfully infuses a sense of dread and fear into the pages that make the story all the more fascinating to read. I found myself glued to the book from start to finish. If you're a fan of horror or supernatural thrillers, don't miss out on Tom and Lovey.

Tom and Lovey: Under The Moon Into The Wood by G R Jerry is a disturbing paranormal fantasy novel about a strange town where people pay the ultimate price for killing animals. In the Village of Wrong, it is wrong to harm animals (even accidentally) that come out of the woods. Sheriff Stargut and his men make sure to punish everyone who injures or kills an animal. Even Lovey's husband, Bill, paid the ultimate price ten years ago, and since then, Lovey's been planning to take Stargut down. Moreover, her best friend, Patty, is somehow under Stargut's influence. Luckily, Lovey isn't the only one who questions Stargut’s deeds and his gift of youth. Tom, the preacher is also interested in stopping Stargut from accomplishing his evil mission of creating the perfect man-beast. Will Lovey and Tom be able to defeat the sinister Stargut?

It’s easy to get lost in this dark and intriguing thriller. Tom and Lovey: Under The Moon Into The Wood by G R Jerry captivated me completely. This young adult fantasy novel comes with many engrossing scenes. It's a bit cynical and deeply disturbing at times. I really enjoyed the author’s voice, the excellent world-building, and the character development. The writing is rich and descriptive, and there's enough action and suspense to keep you turning the pages. G R Jerry did a magnificent job of capturing Stargut's dark nature and the peculiarity of the Village of Wrong and its mysterious inhabitants. I would definitely recommend Tom and Lovey to paranormal fantasy lovers for its unique twists, turns, and rich storyline.

Tom and Lovey by G. R. Jerry is an action-packed thriller following the two central characters’ quest to defeat evil forces. Set in the ‘Village of Wrong’, which surprisingly doesn’t exist on any maps, the story begins with a gut-wrenching description of a man called Tim being burnt alive by the town’s sheriff, Stargut, for the simple crime of hitting a muskrat with his car. The second chapter is even more descriptive, with Bill being similarly killed by Stargut and his group of hooligans as punishment for hurting a deer. The sheriff is the sole authority in the town, and he dispenses justice in strange ways, burning alive all offenders who harm creatures from the forest. However, Bill’s wife Lovey senses something is off, and several years after Bill’s demise, joins hands with Tom, a ‘preacher of sorts’, to take down Stargut and his band of evil creatures wreaking havoc across town.

Pacing is an essential aspect of mystery novels, and this book passes with flying colors. Almost all chapters have at least one significant event, and the mystery is unraveled bit by bit, keeping readers hooked. Also, the characters have detailed and well-thought-out backstories, emphasizing Tom’s character development. Even with Lovey, the second title character, readers can feel her presence strongly throughout the novel. She is mature, devoted, and unwavering in her will to take Stargut down. Only Patty’s character seems a bit dull. After getting trapped under Stargut’s spell, she becomes irrelevant and only emerges to drive the plot forward to the end. However, it is an exciting read filled with monsters and creatures whose descriptions seem inspired. I recommend Tom and Lovey by G. R. Jerry for its consistent pacing and riveting plot.

Small towns always hide some secret. Wrong (the village of Tom and Lovey) is no exception. G R Jerry narrates the attempts of Lovey to uncover the mysteries behind her husband's death (ten years before the beginning of the story). Lovey is sure that Stargut, the town sheriff, is behind it. She does not know, however, what happened exactly. Now, her dead husband has gone silent, and her dear friend, Patty, seems to be under a spell of some sort. Lovey is running out of time, and almost all of the town is involved with Stargut. She will have to trust her weird neighbor, Tom, to solve what is happening. Will they uncover the truth?

The plot of G R Jerry's book is like navigating through a dark forest: you can't see anything aside from what you see in front. As you walk, you can see the tree branches lurking and intertwining, but not the whole picture at once. Throughout the book, Jerry untangles the mysteries behind the strange events, slowly to maintain the wary feeling, but fast enough to keep the reader's attention. The different characters narrate this thrilling story, each with a unique perspective and narrative: first-person and third-person-limited narrators, among others. Each character's previous experiences shape their personality, resulting in three-dimensional and believable people. This book is embedded in the fantasy genre. However, this is just the façade: this fantasy hides a thriller. The underlying story behind the mystical features is terrifying and not recommended for the faint-hearted. If your favorite genres are fantasy and thrillers, this book is definitely for you.
