Celia A. Milano has not authored just another travel blog in Tuscany in July. So you won’t find a boring, here’s-what-I-did-last-summer read in this book. No, Celia invites you to take a journey to the Tuscany region of Italy and enjoy the sounds and sights along with her. Celia journeys to Tuscany at the invitation of a cousin who lives in a beautiful townhouse. She enthralls you as you travel to Pisa and other exciting as well as historical cities. You meet her family and the people of the region. You can almost taste the delicious food. Tuscany in July also contains copious amounts of photographs. Viewing the photos allows you to feel almost like you are at the base of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. You also feel like you are actually in front of the great churches and other historic sites. This book will keep your attention throughout.

Celia A. Milano was born of Italian heritage. In researching her family history, she reached out to possible family members still living in the Tuscany region of Italy. In Tuscany in July, she shares the fascinating story of her traveling to spend time with cousins. Her method of writing is that of opening her heart and allowing the reader to enter the family circle. Reading this book, one almost feels like they are part of an Italian family. Celia tells her story in an exciting way; you can easily read this book in a single sitting. This book is so well written that you won’t even notice the time passing. While Celia shares regional history, she is not a dull history professor. Her words are fresh and alive. This book is a pure delight to read.
