Two Kittens Explore: A Two Kittens Book, written by Carlo A. DeMaio and with illustrations by Luis Lopez, is the second story in a children’s book series about two kittens, one black and one that is striped. It is a quick read, but still manages in such a short amount of time to steal readers' hearts, bit by bit. The storytelling by author Carlo A. DeMaio is realistic and will remind readers of their own experiences as a child when first learning how to become a pet owner or pet parent. The illustrations are very near to perfection in my mind. There is certainly a cuteness factor that is undeniable and this will have readers grinning from ear to ear, child and adult alike.
Author Carlo A. DeMaio and illustrator Luis Lopez hit this children’s book, Two Kittens Explore, out of the park. I haven’t come across an illustrated book about cats that made me smile as much since the book Skippyjon Jones. The illustrations give readers a warm sort of feeling with their pastel colorings. There is everything to love about Two Kittens Explore and probably the entire Two Kittens series, I have no doubt about that. This is a book you will want to tell all your friends and family about, especially those that may be wanting to get pets for their young children. You won't want to miss out on this book. Two Kittens Explore is a book that will entertain readers of all ages.
