Water Barrel: Your Personal Evolution to Financial Independence by David Penna is a book that will help all readers to save, plan, budget, and invest their earnings to ensure a comfortable retirement. The author makes the learning process enjoyable and his personal experiences lend credibility to the story he narrates using animals as characters. Let us meet Harry, the hedgehog who is the main character in the story, and become financially literate, something which the educational system does not teach us. The book will give confidence to all readers in managing their own money, and charting their financial path to comfort.

The author's approach to the topic is different and original, and I like the way he has a commentary after each chapter, discussing in detail what is mentioned in the chapter. That makes it easy for readers to understand clearly what he is trying to explain and plan their investment cleverly. He deals with the topic methodically and extensively, leaving no room for doubt when it comes to investing money wisely. Reading this book will erase all fears about retirement finances and pre-retirement investments and help readers realize it is possible to live sensibly today and yet at the same time prepare for the future. This book will definitely help to make everyone's retirement dreams come true. The techniques and strategies are simple and explained in detail, which makes it easy for readers to apply the advice when it comes to investing.
