In When Cats Fly (Jellibean Adventures Book 3) by Cindi Handley Goodeaux, Jellibean was thankful the possum family let her spend the night with them. She woke up in the morning to the sounds of them leaving to search for food. She hugged each one and said goodbye. It was going to be a great day as she set out on the dirt path. She still had a lot to see even though she had traveled a long way from the castle walls. She was lost in the thoughts of her royal childhood when she heard a familiar sound of flapping of wings behind her. It was her friend Sydney, a big red bird, and Jellibean was more than happy to welcome her travel partner. Sydney was curious to know why Jellibean carried a lot of books in her wagon. He picked up one of the books and started reading it aloud. The story was about a lonely little palm tree, Kai, who lived on a tiny island.
When Cats Fly (Jellibean Adventures Book 3) by Cindi Handley Goodeaux is a wonderful story of friendship, magic, and adventure that will make young readers dream of new horizons. Sanghamitra Dasgupta makes the story and the characters palpable to readers with her wonderful and lively illustrations that pull readers into the story to join Jellibean and her adventure along with Sydney and The Great Miguel. It is a fun read for youngsters and adults reading it aloud. The Jellibean Adventures Series will definitely make readers enjoy the adventure and magic with their friends.
