Why the F Do I Need Life Insurance? by JB Michaels is a concise and informative guide that poses the question that many people without life insurance consider. What are the benefits of having life insurance when the only financial gain we receive is when we have passed away? JB Michaels never thought life insurance was necessary, even though his past was filled with daring and adventurous experiences. However, as he started a family, he realized that if anything tragic were ever to happen, there would be nobody to care for his family. Throughout this heartwarming and extremely funny journey, JB explains how investing in life insurance is so important and vital for the well-being of your loved ones. He also explains how to invest your money wisely and intelligently. JB makes the subject of life insurance policies so easy to follow and understand.

I absolutely adored JB Michaels’s extremely funny and enlightening story. His experiences as a child and into adulthood were hysterical. I also thought he was a natural and exceptional storyteller. His style of writing flowed beautifully and drew you into his world of high jinx and carefree abandonment. His views on life insurance, for me, were totally relatable and comical. One of my favorite lines was, ‘Please underwriters, this is in no way an indictment of my current behavior and mental health.’ There was also an incredible amount of information around the benefits of life insurance and investments that I was unaware of. The Life Insurance Quicksheet chapter was my favorite and filled with tips and advice that were very helpful. I highly recommend Why the F Do I Need Life Insurance? to anyone that is undecided whether or not to invest in life insurance.

Why the F Do I Need Life Insurance? by JB Michaels is a non-fiction guide for those who have either asked the titular question or haven't even given it the courtesy of thought. Michaels brings levity to the subject of planning for one of the few guarantees in life: death. The very real need to be covered for the inevitable is cushioned in a way the author initially was not...through hilariously terrifying stories of the recklessness of youth that include, but are in no way limited to, jumping from heights with little hope of emerging unscathed, wrestling matches that end in broken windshields, hurling himself downstairs before he could walk that leads to a similar plummet down a much larger scale of descent.

Ask me a week ago if a book on insurance might entertain me into seeing its importance, it is likely I'd have pushed you out of the way myself. Enter JB Michaels and Why the F Do I Need Life Insurance? The levity of the writing makes the topic palatable and is an effective means of balancing more serious, very real stories of loss. The types of insurance policies, their benefits, and the situations they would be best for are given an overview, as are the ways we might best be able to gauge and decide on the dollar amount of any given policy. Michaels concludes with a Quicksheet for a brief reference based on the stage of life one may be in. The guide is short and Michaels also includes excerpts of a bit of fiction he's written that are also quite good, and as entertaining as his non-fiction.

If you think that books on life insurance are tedious and difficult to understand, it is because you have not read Why the F Do I Need Life Insurance? by JB Michaels. This short and informative book will help you reflect on the reasons why you need life insurance for you and your loved ones, but first, it will take you on a journey of the risky adventures that the author experienced. Above all, Why the F Do I Need Life Insurance? will make you reflect on the fact that the reason for having life insurance is purely altruistic.

Some readers prefer long books and others like short reads. I belong to the first group, so I confess that the length of Why the F Do I Need Life Insurance? made me skeptical of its actual value at first. Now, however, I am happy to have read it. Why the F Do I Need Life Insurance? is a short read, but one that's useful and impactful. In addition to reading JB Michaels' examples of risky events, I appreciated the book's message. There are many good reasons to think about having life insurance or not, but what matters is the act of love that such a gesture implies. This is an excellent lesson that Michaels teaches us well. I recommend Why the F Do I Need Life Insurance? to all those who still have doubts about their life insurance. This book will help them decide.
