Author Biography

I quit a job I loved supervising student teachers at The University of Texas at Dallas to devote more time to my passion for writing. "Winds of Fate" was not my first manuscript, but I got the idea to write a romance story about horse owners from watching my two daughters care for and train their horses for competition.

She had been the best manager of his horse farm. She was the reason his horses won top awards at national competitions. She knew his horses better than he did. How could she say she wanted to quit her job? Rich bachelor and horse farm owner Lloyd Hampton Massey wondered as he considered Danielle O’Leary’s request. With an upcoming horse competition in Paris, Lloyd knew better than to let Danielle go. Danielle claimed she wanted to move to the city of Dallas to find a husband. She had been married before but her husband had died before they had any kids, and she badly wanted her own. Lloyd decides to help Danielle find a husband just so he doesn't have to lose her. But then, could her job be the only reason Lloyd didn’t want her to leave? Or is there more to it? Get yourself a copy of Jo Anne Barnes’ Winds of Fate to know more.

Lovers of romance novels laced with a spellbinding tale of fortune tellers, rich bachelors, date nights, country life, horses, spicy romance, love, rejection, stubbornness, fate, passion, suspense, and adventure will love Jo Anne Barnes’ Winds of Fate. Barnes depicts the emotions of the cast both clearly and exquisitely with their traits brilliantly juxtaposed, making them a complicated yet authentic lot. Barnes has a knack for perfectly capturing the mood and setting the scene. The depictions were so vivid I felt like I was right next to the characters, helplessly watching their every move. She adds a dramatic touch to the scenes by giving depth to both wit and narration. Winds of Fate could be made into an engrossing Hollywood romantic movie. I loved it and look forward to reading more of Barnes’ work.

Winds of Fate A Pygmalion Romance by Jo Anne Barnes
This story starts out with Danielle and she's about ready to move onto a new venture.
She's been with the horse ranch for quite some time, she arrived after her spouse had passed away.
She's real good at her job but wants other things in life. Her boss, who she felt at one time were very close have drawn apart.
He's always flying around and he brings his new girlfriend. They agree that he needs to set her up with his friends, to achieve her goals in life.

Like the turns and twists this book takes as she always remembers the gypsy and her future telling....
Amazing she finds what she needs and love haring the talk of how to tend to horses, Love the travel and adventure also.
Can't wait to read more: very descriptive, new subjects and relaxing.
