Above the entrance to the Temple of Apollo at Delphi were the words ‘Know thyself’! In her brave work, Wired for God: Adventures of a Jewish Yogi, Dani Antman takes the reader on an intimate and personal journey of illumination and self discovery. She not only forges a story of self awakening, Ms Antman generously embraces the non-dual realization that the world and the Self are One Absolute Reality. What is particularly impressive about Dani Antman’s writing is that she is prepared to express personal ideas and emotions in a way that is inclusive and non judgmental.

The author also goes to great lengths to illustrate that there are many pathways to personal illumination. This is important because it allows readers from a variety of spiritual and faith perspectives the opportunity to see the concepts and teachings presented in the book through their own personal lens of belief and understanding. As the author expresses: “My deepest wish for you is that my spiritual experiences inspire you to make your own journey of return, to forge your own spiritual path, and that no matter what path you choose, you find that eventually all paths lead home.” This book gives us not only a person who ultimately does truly ‘know herself’; we also experience someone who is prepared to release her own unique and powerful sense of spirituality to others in an open, honest and caring manner. In a material world of duality, where the forces of darkness appear to be gaining ascendancy, Wired for God inspires in us the promise that the light within each of us is still accessible.
