Wisdom: Now and Always is penned by author Miguel Mendonça and narrated by W. D. Carney. The author tackles the age-old question: what is wisdom, and how do you gauge it? Wisdom to you would mean something completely different to me, which is why it is necessary to understand all aspects of it before claiming that we know what wisdom actually is. Divided into 26 chapters each dedicated to someone accomplished, the book shares what wisdom means to all of them in their respective fields. The author shares their experiences and makes it possible for the audience to understand how rewarding wisdom can be.

Author Miguel Mendonça compiled a complete set of influential and successful people from all over the world to help the audience find their inspiration. The narrative does justice to each person that the author chose for this book, allowing that person to share their ideas at their own pace and not rush anything. It made the narrative more powerful and relatable. Each chapter was as unique as the person who shared their story with the audience. Fantastic!

I am unfamiliar with W. D. Carney, and so this was my first experience listening to his narration. I found his narration to be encouraging and engrossing; something that is necessary when narrating a non-fiction book like this. I also found his narrative style to be entertaining. He made each chapter interesting while also being careful of the pace set by the author. The highs and lows of his voice changed with each chapter and allowed readers to get the full experience.
