World of de Wolfe Pack: Love's Legacy is a fun, entertaining, lovable historical romance that you will find to be a welcome mini-vacation from the real world. Love's Legacy follows Rebecca Sumerfield, a young woman whose world was destroyed when her brother, a soldier, was killed in battle. Seeing the devastation not only in her and her immediate family's life, but also in her sister-in-law, who was left raising a young child alone, has made Rebecca determined to never fall in love with a soldier. Ever. But one day, during a party where she should have been trying to snag a suitor, she saw a light flickering in the long abandoned ruins of Babylon Castle. She can't help but investigate, and meets the incredibly good looking Captain Camden Le Bec. There is an undeniable pull between the two of them, a pull that she wants to give in to, but he's a soldier. Will her heart be able to convince her mind that it's worth taking a chance?

Author Amanda Mariel pulls you in with her writing, bringing the heartache of loss to you in a way so that you almost feel as if it was your own brother who passed. You will ache for the love of Captain Le Bec, while feeling that it's too much to risk. Everything that Rebecca is feeling, you will also experience, which is a sign of a great author and a great story. Amanda Mariel will have you begging for more once the last page turns, and I, for one, am looking forward to reading more from this great author.
