Wow! Reading Douglas A. Jacoby's Your Bible Questions Answered made me feel a little bit like one of the contestants on the television game show who isn't smarter than a fifth grader. While I've only been a Christian for 11 years, I thought I knew quite a bit about the Bible and answers to some of the more frequently asked questions. As it turns out, I had quite a bit more to learn, and Jacoby's book certainly filled in those gaps of knowledge for me.

The cover design and interior formatting of the book were very appealing. The flow of the book was chronological and very easy to follow. The only thing that might have improved it was adding the list of questions that were going to be answered throughout the book to the Table of Contents. But then again, maybe that's just me being lazy.

I found answers to many of my own questions in this book, including the difference between a disciple and an apostle, why were only the males counted in the census, and does the breaking of bread refer to receiving communion or sharing an actual meal?

This is a must-read for a new Christian to help guide him through the book knowledge that comes with the heart knowledge once he accepts Christ into his life. My father-in-law is seeking a relationship with Jesus but hasn't yet made that commitment, and I am going to give him this book to help him get some of the answers he's looking for while making his decision.
