“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I –
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.”
– The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost

If you’re a voracious reader like myself, then you must have read these lines quoted somewhere or the entire poem by Robert Frost, and it was a delight that these were the very first words I saw when I opened this book. So, I asked myself: Am I really ready for this? Am I ready to take the leap, to dare to think differently, to try the road less travelled by? Zag: The Power of Thinking Differently by Michael Clawson is not a book for people who don’t dream big. It is not a book for people who follow the crowd, whose dreams are made by others. No, it’s a book for those who make the difference. It came in time. It came at a time when I needed to hear the hard truth about life, about my originality, and about the fact that I have the key to unlocking the secrets to my success by making my thoughts something personal.

If you hate the idea of change, of moving out of your comfort zone and experiencing discomfort, then this is not a book for you. It is mind-boggling, punctuated with hard truths and facts that will astound the reader, revealing how we train our minds to orient us where others want us to be and not where we really want to be. The book features powerful examples and exercises that illustrate how society, the media, and others make us think and act the way they want, hence producing results they want and not those that align with our deepest desires. Zag: The Power of Thinking Differently is a groundbreaking book that doesn’t just tell readers to think differently to get different results from those they have been used to getting, but shows them how to really think differently. Michael Clawson has written the first book that taught me how to claim my inner freedom and he has done so with great style. Here is a book for anyone who wants to make a difference, in life and business.
